From the oldest formulation of French Homeopathy,
the Hydroalcoholic Solutions are the cornerstone of every formulation.
The basis of every treatment.
Witch hazel has phlebotonic, astringent, vasoconstrictive, haemostatic and analgesic-antiphlogistic properties. It is therefore indicated against haemorrhoids and varicose veins.
It is also used in cases of gingivitis and oral inflammation.
Full description

Hamamelis hydroalcoholic solution. Food supplement based on fresh plants. Witch hazel leaves contain soluble tannins (witch hazel acid), active ingredients that possess a particular tropism towards cell membranes and vascular walls, exerting a vasoprotective action, useful in vasculopathies; and a re-epithelialising action, to be exploited in the presence of allergic-type dermatitis. Moreover, the presence of flavonoids and triterpene compounds contributes to the muscular tone of the venous walls, compromised during inflammation. This is why witch hazel is considered an effective remedy in the treatment of circulatory system disorders, such as phlebitis, varicose veins and haemorrhoids, capillary fragility, dilated capillaries, tendency to bruising, cellulite, where an astringent action is required. Witch hazel also has anti-haemorrhagic properties for use in cases of metrorrhagia and in menstrual pain with abnormal blood flow.
